UNIVRSLL Chat — Community rules
Last updated October 16, 2026 (revision 15)
UNIVRSLL is for respectful conversations between people. These rules apply to messages (including photos, videos, voice messages and reactions), profiles, reports and other information you share through the service. UNIVRSLL Chat is operated by UNIVRSLL LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, 7401 Williamson Street, Dearborn, MI 48126, USA. Contact: contact@univrsll.com.
Who can use UNIVRSLL Chat
You must be 16 or older to use UNIVRSLL Chat. Confirm this when creating your account. If you believe someone under 16 has an account, contact contact@univrsll.com.
Respect people
Do not harass, bully, threaten, stalk or target someone with hateful or discriminatory abuse. Respect someone’s request to stop contacting them. Do not evade a block or messaging restriction with another account.
Keep harmful content out
Zero tolerance: do not share or solicit child sexual exploitation or abuse material, sexual content involving minors, or use UNIVRSLL to abuse or exploit a child. Do not share pornography, graphic violence, or content encouraging violence, self-harm or other serious harm. Do not use the service to traffic people, facilitate crimes or trade illegal goods. We report apparent child sexual exploitation material to NCMEC and law enforcement as required by law.
Protect privacy and ownership
Do not publish another person’s private information, intimate images or confidential conversations without permission. Do not impersonate someone, steal accounts, share stolen credentials or infringe other people’s intellectual property. Never ask someone for their password, verification code or chat recovery key.
No scams or spam
Do not send scams, phishing links, malware, unsolicited bulk promotions or repetitive unwanted messages. Do not deliberately disrupt the service or abuse its reporting tools.
Block and report
Use the safety controls in a conversation to block a person or report them. To report a particular message, photo, video or voice message, touch and hold it and choose Report. Choose the reason that fits. Sharing selected message text as evidence is optional and lets authorized moderators read that text. Reporting and blocking are separate actions.
Reports should be honest and relevant. Do not submit fabricated evidence or malicious reports. You can also contact contact@univrsll.com about safety concerns. UNIVRSLL is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services for immediate danger.
How moderation works
This app applies on-device text filtering before sending messages or submitting profile names, and also checks saved message retries. Photos, videos and voice messages are not checked automatically; report them if they break these rules. Text matching its rules cannot be sent or saved from this app. Matching received messages are hidden in chats and conversation previews. You can report a hidden message; reviewing the text is optional, and sharing it with moderators still requires your separate choice.
Filtering currently uses a limited set of English and Arabic patterns. It can miss harmful content or flag innocent text. If a draft is blocked, edit it before sending. Use blocking and reporting for concerns the filter misses.
Reports and support emails are handled by UNIVRSLL’s authorized moderator through the in-app report inbox and contact@univrsll.com. We aim to review safety reports within 24 hours and to answer support and privacy emails within 2 business days.
Authorized moderators review submitted reports and any evidence you choose to share. Private message text is not automatically available to moderators. Depending on the concern, enforcement may include dismissing a report, issuing a warning, temporarily restricting or suspending messaging, or hiding selected content. Messaging suspensions do not expire automatically and can be reviewed or restored by an authorized moderator. Serious objectionable content and abusive behavior have zero tolerance. We do not guarantee removal of copies already cached or saved by another person.
A restriction notice explains the decision to the affected account. Where a review is available, use Settings → Request a review, or contact contact@univrsll.com. A messaging restriction does not remove your access to account deletion. We consider the available evidence and context; sending a report does not guarantee a particular outcome.
Changes and questions
We may update these rules as the service develops. Material changes will be explained in the app. Questions about these rules or a moderation decision can be sent to contact@univrsll.com.
